Event: Hurricane Hills 4/19/09 Race #1 - Practice was Very dry and dusty. Then the rain came on Sunday. The temperature was cool and as the rain increased the track got greaser. The Second moto was miserable for spectators and riders. Due to the rain we were unable to photograph the riders in action. Sorry. » Click here for gallery |

Event: Berm Benders 4/26/09 Race #2 - With the treat of rain on race day and no practice on Saturday, the entries we down. It was really to bad, because the weather man missed it again. (Imagine that!) With a light mist all day made for great track conditions. The cool weather made it a little uncomfortable for spectators, but great for the machines and adrenaline pumped riders. There was a lot of great competition though out all the classes. Sorry once again due to the weather we didn't pull out the camera. » Click here for gallery |

Event: Motocity 5/03/09 Race #3 - Great weather made for some great races. The track staff did a great job keeping the dust down. Attendance was still low for the third race of the season. Hopefully things will pick up, this economy will turn around and everyone will be able to get back to doing things that we like to do like racing and having fun. |

Event: Spring Creek 5/10/09 Race #4- Brrrr. Another chilly race weekend. Having Practice on Saturday was great and proved to be a benefit to all that used the opportunity to ride. The races were very competitive. Everybody looked great. It was good to see some of those National riders show up for this race. The Root River Race Team took a hit this weekend with the accident by C Class rider Adam Nelson. He broke his pelvis and will be out for the rest of the season and is considering retirement. Good Luck to Adam! You Be Missed! |

Event: RTW Race Promotions 5/17/09 Race #5 - You got to love sand to race this track. Great weather finally for race day. The top of Rich's head is a little burnt. Entry count was around 108. This seems to be a trend between 105 to 125 entries each week. Wish it was higher, but we all have to do what best for our families and finances. I believe it was an injury free weekend all around and that is great. |

Event: Hurricane Hills Double Header 5/24/09 & 5/25/09 Race #6&7 - Fast, Faster & Fastest..... Crash! WOW there was a lot of accidents this weekend. We truly hope that everyone is ok that had to pay a visit to the medics or the hospital. The weather was great this weekend. We'd like to send out a BIG Thank You to Jeff & Susan Grey for the DJ Sunday night. I think everyone had a lot of fun dancing and making fools out themselves. Dean Plantz needs to stay off the pole. To Chris Plantz and Kyle Golberg, stop kissing in public! :-) Hope everyone is able to get all the Mazeppa Dust out of their cracks and crevasses of the trailers & machines. See you next week.

Event: Echo Valley 5/31/09 Race #8 - Not much to report other than Rivers should stay out of the water. Pretty low turn out. Weather held off for the most part. It look like rain for most of the day. We only got picture of a couple of the motos because when it did rain we put the camera away. Sorry. Have a good weekend off. There is open practice at Kellogg/Midway on Sunday that we are going to. See ya. |

Event: Motocity 6/14/09 Race #9 - Sorry we missed the races. We were in Chilton, WI for Quad Olympics. Tried to get out of there at a reasonable hour to drive thru the night to get to Staples, but the race didn't end until after 11pm. » Click here for gallery |

Event: Motocity 8/02/09 Race #13 - Always great to see the Kadlec family. They do such an outstanding job. Track was great and the weather held off for the most part. Rod & Doug of the Root River Powersports crew felt that they need to do a 100 extra 12oz arm curls which took them all night to complete. Way to go to put that extra effort into the evening! See you all at Kellogg.
