  Rich Gillette, Rod Mickelson, Steve Skelly and Dean Plantz are all fathers of boys who race quads. The concept of Root River Powersports was developed when these dads found they had no on-track resource for immediate part needs. Over the winter of 2007/2008, Rich, Rod, Steve and Dean did some talking to parents, research about other companies, and fully concepting how the company would work. Root River Power Sports is excited to be a part of the quad community and to accommodate your urgent quad needs.
